Greater Southern Waterfront
The Greater Southern Waterfront stretches between Pasir Panjang and Marina East, will be transformed into a new regional gateway and place for urban living along Singapore’s southern coast. In the future, a continuous waterfront promenade would link seamlessly with numerous points of interest along the Greater Southern Waterfront. The new Pasir Panjang Linear Park will connect West Coast Park with Labrador Nature Reserve along this route, offering park visitors an insight into the working container port and Power District of Pasir Panjang up close. For tourists to enjoy a distinctive recreational experience, other future ties will also connect places of interest along the waterfront to the hilltops.

Linking Green & Blue

One Faber Project is researching a new funicular system at Mount Faber to carry visitors up to the hilltop and cable car station from the foothills by 2023. This makes convenient access to Mount Faber and the remaining 10 km long Southern Ridges.
